LIBBY BURKE WILDE LIBBY BURKE WILDE

Place Of Power (click here) is a photography exhibtion and podcast currently touring Lancashire until 2024. The concept was  dreamt up by myself and a group of Ukrainian refugees who recently resettled in Lancashire. By photographing each person in a place that made them feel powerful again, and inviting them to write letters left completely up to their own interpretation, this is a project about people who’ve had control taken away from them reclaiming it once more.

Thank you to Iryna, Rita, Viktoriia, Tania, Elvira, Yuliia and Svitlana for trusting me with their stories.
